How old do I need to rent a car from Hurricane car rental?

You should be 21 year and over with a valid driving license.​

What deposit do I need to pay to secure my car rental?

Depending on the car you would like to rent the booking deposit may very between R1 500 and R4 000.

 

What is the procedure I need to follow to make a booking ?

Contact us with the car that you would like to book and for what period, once we confirm availability you can pay the booking deposit. On the day of collection, you will go through our rules and regulations with one of our staff members, they will also take you through a car checklist to mark of any existing damages, the full payment is expected before the key handover.

 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, EFTS, and card payments.

 

What procedure must I follow if I have an accident with Hurricane car vehicle?

if you have an accident while driving one of our cars, the most important is to contact us immediately. Your full deposit amount will not be reimbursed and will be used as insurance access fee.

 

Where is Hurricane car rental located?

Hurricane is located at 37 Montague drive, Montague Gardens, Cape Town .

 

How long does it take for me to receive back my deposit after returning a vehicle?

If the payment is to a local account expect a period of 7 to 14 working days, if the refund needs to be made to an international account it will take 14 to 20 days.
